We are given the promise of eternal life

God gave us a promise that enables us to go to heaven. So the Bible calls us children of promise.

Gal 4:28 Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise.

What is the promise of God then?

1 Jn 2:25 And this is what he promised us—even eternal life.

What is God’s promise? It is eternal life. Then let’s find out how we can receive eternal life.

God’s will contained in all things

Rev 4:11 “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”

When God created all things, He created them by His will. Among them, let’s think about life. Every living organism on this earth receives life from its mother. So do human beings. Our physical life is given by our physical mothers. Just as our physical life is given by our physical mothers, our spiritual life is given by our spiritual Mother. So for us who are children of promise, our spiritual Mother who will give us eternal life must exist.

Our spiritual Mother exists

Now let’s find the existence of our spiritual Mother through the Bible.

Ge 1:26 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness ….”

God did not refer to Himself as “I,” a singular form but “Us,” a plural form. Then why did God refer to Himself as a plural form?

Ge 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

In verse 26, God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness,” and in verse 27, the man who was created in the image of God was male and female. Since male and female were created in the image of God, it means that God has two images: male and female.

For ages, believers have thought that God only exists as a male, so they have called God “God the Father.” Then what should we call the female image of God? Of course, we should call Her “Mother.” We must believe in our spiritual Mother as well as our spiritual Father.

Life is given by Mother

Then, what is God’s will in creating Adam and Eve who were made in the image of God?

Ro 5:14 Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who was a pattern of the one to come.

Whom does Adam, the first man who was created in the image of God, represent? He was a pattern of Jesus Christ who was to come to this earth. Jesus is God the Father according to the Trinity. Then whom does Eve, who was created in the image of God, represent? As Adam represents God the Father, his wife, Eve, represents God the Mother.

Ge 3:20 Adam named his wife Eve, because she would become the mother of all the living.

“Eve” means living or life. (Refer to the footnote.) Why does the Bible call Eve, a woman, “life”? There is one thing in this world that a man never can do but only a woman can do. It is to give birth to a child. This is why the Bible calls a woman, Eve, “life.” As Eve is a life-giver, the Bible calls her the “mother of all the living.”

As Adam is the prophetic figure of Jesus who is the male image of God, Eve is the prophetic figure of Heavenly Mother who is the female image of God. Through the prophecy about Eve, God made known to us that eternal life is given to us by our Heavenly Mother. Jesus also said about this.

Jn 6:39, 40,44,54 “And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all that he has given me, but raise them up at the last day.”

Even four times, Jesus repeatedly said that He would give them life “at the last day.” As Jesus is Christ, he had enough power to give them life at that time. However, why did Jesus put it off until the last day? That is because the Bible prophesies that spiritual life will be given to us by our spiritual Mother who appears in the last days.

The six-day Creation is the prophecy about the six thousand-year work of redemption. So, creating Eve on the sixth day is the prophecy that Heavenly Mother is to appear at the end of the six thousand-year work of redemption. According to this prophecy, Heavenly Mother appears in the last days and gives eternal life to Her children.

Heavenly Mother appears in the last days

Rev 19:7 Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.

Jesus appeared alone at His first coming, but Jesus who is prophesied here appears with “the bride of the Lamb.” So this prophecy should be fulfilled at His second coming. Let’s continue to study about the wife of the Lamb.

Rev 21:9-10 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.

The bride, wife of the Lamb, whom the angel showed to John was Heavenly Jerusalem. Then who is the wife of the Lamb, Heavenly Jerusalem, to us?

Gal 4:26 But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.

“Above” refers to heaven. Heavenly Jerusalem is our Mother. Whom does “we” refer to? They are the “saints” who will be saved. And the Bible says that we, the saints, are children of promise.

Gal 4:28 Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise.

We are children of promise, and whom do we have according to verse 26? We have our Mother. The promise of God is eternal life, and the children of promise are the children of Mother.

Gal 4:31 Therefore, brothers, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman.

Likewise, the Bible calls the children of promise who will receive eternal life, the children of Heavenly Mother. The promise of God, eternal life, is given by our Mother. Let us absolutely believe in Heavenly Jerusalem Mother whom the Bible testifies about, so that we will be God’s children of promise and receive eternal life as He promised and enter the eternal kingdom of heaven.
